Monica Barbaro Floats Down the Red Carpet at the ‘Crime 101’ Premiere
Monica Barbaro made a stunning entrance in London last night for the gala screening of Crime 101 at the Odeon Luxe Leicester Square. The actor chose a Marmar Halim Pre-Fall 2026 gown that marked a clear shift from her recent Dior outfits, which had divided opinion among fashion critics. This soft ivory dress felt like a return to her signature elegance.
The strapless gown flowed beautifully, with a gathered bodice and a wrapped skirt that created a natural, sculpted look. Its pale ivory color gave the outfit a refined and light feel, perfect for a high-profile London event. The design’s Grecian-inspired drapery added a classical touch, evoking the style of Maria Grazia Chiuri’s earlier collections. Monica paired the gown with gold sandals and Bvlgari jewelry, keeping the look simple so her presence could shine.

The red carpet appearance was for the promotion of Crime 101, a slick crime thriller directed by Bart Layton and based on a novella by Don Winslow. Chris Hemsworth stars as a master thief with a strict moral code, and Mark Ruffalo plays a determined detective. The film also features Halle Berry, Barry Keoghan, and Jennifer Jason Leigh, rounding out a powerhouse cast.

Monica Barbaro’s career has been rising rapidly since her breakout role as Phoenix in Top Gun: Maverick. She recently earned critical praise and an Academy Award nomination for her portrayal of Joan Baez in the Bob Dylan biopic A Complete Unknown. She is also set to star in the romantic comedy One Night Only, opposite Callum Turner.
In addition to her film work, Monica is preparing for her stage debut in a West End revival of Les Liaisons Dangereuses at the National Theatre. She will share the stage with Lesley Manville and Aidan Turner later this year. Between theater and post-production projects, she is proving herself as one of Hollywood’s most versatile actors.
The shift toward classical, understated silhouettes on the red carpet seems to suit her, showing confidence and a clear sense of style.
