‘Monster Hunter Wilds’ Title Update 2 Lands At The End of the June

Capcom has shared that the next big update for Monster Hunter Wilds is coming at the end of June. Title Update 2 will bring a lot of new things to the game, including new monsters, weapon options, balance changes, and other small improvements.
One of the monsters fans are excited about is Lagiacrus. Capcom has been teasing this fan-favorite creature for a while now in trailers and images, and it looks like it’s finally making a return in this update.
Along with Lagiacrus, players can also expect new tempered monsters at the 8-star level, and even a new Arch-tempered monster to challenge.

The update details come from the May 2025 Director’s Letter shared by Yuya Tokuda, who is the director of Monster Hunter Wilds. In the letter, Tokuda talks about how the team has been listening to feedback and working on adjustments to improve the game. He also gave fans a look at some of the quality-of-life features that are being added to make the experience smoother and more enjoyable.
The announcement, including the official image shared by Capcom, was posted on the game’s official channels. Fans who have been following the game closely will likely be excited to jump back in and see what new surprises await when Title Update 2 goes live later this month.
