Moon Knight’s Return: Insider Spills the Scoop Fans Have Been Waiting For!

Moon Knight is at this point one of the most popular MCU superheroes as his solo Disney+ series was a great success for the streaming platform. Disney+ shows are often categorized as mini-series, meaning they have a predetermined amount of episodes and Moon Knight is no exception to this “rule.”
But rules can be broken, and despite ending in a pretty clear-cut way, fans have been hoping for ‘Moon Knight’ season 2, for quite a while now.
About a month ago, one of the directors who worked on the show Mohamed Diab, sparked some hope for the character’s return. He emphasized that nothing is ever truly over with Marvel and he would love to be involved in future projects with the character. While no plans are currently in motion, he values his strong relationship with Marvel.
This is following a plethora of rumors that ‘Moon Knight’ season 2 is currently in development. However, an industry insider with a somewhat mixed track record, MyTimeToShineHello recently shared on their social media that the character might appear in future ‘Avengers’ projects and rumored ‘Midnight Sons’ project.
The ‘Avengers’ part of the rumor is not at all surprising considering that ‘Secret Wars’ is rumored to include over 50 characters at this point. ‘Midnight Sons’ movie hasn’t been confirmed by the official sources yet, but there are talks that the studio plans to gather the magical and occult side of the MCU in the same project.
With the introduction of Mephisto, Jennifer Kale, Blade, and the rumored Ghost Rider appearance, the project seems likely. The most frequently mentioned names for the team’s roster include Wong, Moon Knight, Ghost Rider, Blade, Werewolf by Night, and Man-Thing, with others like Black Knight, Scarlet Scarab, and Elsa Bloodstone also in consideration.
