The fifth and final season of Stranger Things is set to stream on Netflix, with eight episodes released in three parts. The first two volumes will premiere on November 26 and December 25, followed by the finale on December 31. The season is produced by the Duffer Brothers along with Shawn Levy and Dan Cohen.
Natalia Dyer returns as series regular alongside Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Finn Wolfhard, Millie Bobby Brown, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Noah Schnapp, Sadie Sink, Charlie Heaton, Joe Keery, Maya Hawke, Priah Ferguson, Brett Gelman, Cara Buono, and Jamie Campbell Bower.
Amybeth McNulty has been promoted to the main cast after guest appearances in the previous season, and newcomers Nell Fisher, Jake Connelly, Alex Breaux, and Linda Hamilton join the ensemble.
The story picks up a year after the events of Season 4, in the fall of 1987. The group is on a dangerous mission to stop Vecna after the Rifts opened in Hawkins. The situation escalates when the military arrives, targeting Eleven. As the anniversary of Will Byers’ disappearance approaches, the friends face one final, deadly challenge.
