Olympo featured a strong cast, including Clara Galle, Nira Osahia, Agustín Della Corte, Nuno Gallego, María Romanillos, Andy Duato, Najwa Khliwa, Juan Perales, and Martí Cordero.

The series focused on the athletes’ rivalries, friendships, and romantic relationships, while also showing the high stakes of competing for sponsorships and recognition through the global brand Olympo.
The cancellation was first reported by the Spanish social media account Previously Serie, which noted that “Clara Galle and Agustín Della Corte have not received a call to return 6 months after its release…We can confirm that the teams are already involved in other projects.” Netflix has since confirmed the decision, which was also reported by TuSubtitulo.

Despite the cancellation, Olympo performed well on the platform. It spent five weeks in the global top 10, earning 113.3 million viewing hours and 17.7 million completed views. The show reached daily top 10s in 78 countries and remained in the Spanish daily TV top 10 for over 36 days. Reviews were mixed, but the series clearly attracted a wide international audience.
At the time of the series’ release, some reports suggested a second season was already planned, but Netflix clarified that no official decision had been made. This makes the cancellation somewhat unexpected, given the show’s initial success and international reach.
