Netflix Drops Sneak Peek at ‘Wednesday’ Season 2 Part 2

Wednesday is creeping back into Nevermore Academy with Season 2 on Netflix, and fans are getting a sneak peek at Part 2. After the first four episodes dropped on August 6, viewers have been eager to see what happens next in the Addams teenager’s spooky life.

Netflix recently shared a sneak peek that teases the upcoming episodes. The short clip shows the first few seconds from the official Part 2 trailer, giving fans a glimpse of what’s in store.

This season has already been a wild ride for Wednesday. With her whole family at Nevermore and her mother keeping a close eye on her, things haven’t exactly been easy. By the end of Episode 4, Wednesday had lost her psychic abilities and had to rely on her detective skills to track down who was targeting Enid and uncover the mystery of the one-eyed crow.

Her investigation didn’t go as planned, though, and she ended up causing a breakout at Willow Hill, the psychiatric facility that also housed Tyler, the Hyde. The episode closed with Tyler escaping and throwing Wednesday from a high window.

The new trailer shows Wednesday waking up in a hospital, discovering that Principal Weems is now her spirit guide. Goody Addams, her previous guide, gave up her ghost form to save Wednesday from a life-threatening injury, but Principal Weems isn’t exactly gentle.

In the sneak peek, their first conversation highlights the sarcastic and blunt dynamic fans have come to love:

“Congratulations, Ms. Addams. Your hubris has yet again made you the architect of your own demise.”

Principal Weems is here to help, but she doesn’t sugarcoat anything. She adds, “And your arrogance has only made you more insufferable.” The exchange shows that while the two may clash, they could also be more alike than Wednesday wants to admit.

The teaser also features Morticia reading the witches’ song from Macbeth, setting a chilling tone for Part 2:

“Nothing like death, despair, and dismemberment to try and snap her out of a coma.”

The back-and-forth between Wednesday and her new spirit guide has fans buzzing, making the second half of Season 2 one of the most anticipated releases on Netflix.
