Netflix Just Dropped a Massive UK Renewal Wave, Here’s Everything Coming Back

Netflix’s UK slate has quietly become one of the streamer’s most reliable engines, blending gritty crime dramas, reality staples, and buzzy originals into a lineup that keeps British audiences glued to their screens. Between gangster sagas, dystopian anthologies, and unscripted favorites, the platform has built a genuinely loyal following across genres.

That momentum has only been building over the past year, with several shows quietly wrapping production or entering new phases without much fanfare. Fans have been left piecing together scattered hints about what’s actually coming next, and speculation has run wild across social media.

Now Netflix has put all that guesswork to rest with one sweeping announcement. The streamer confirmed renewals for a huge batch of its biggest UK titles, including new seasons of ‘The Gentlemen,’ ‘House of Guinness,’ ‘Legends,’ ‘Being Gordon Ramsay,’ and ‘Formula 1: Drive to Survive,’ alongside status updates on several other returning hits.

Leading the charge is ‘The Gentlemen,’ which Netflix confirmed for a third season even before Season 2 has premiered. Creator Guy Ritchie said the show’s ambition has grown alongside its world, adding that a third season felt inevitable and that he’s looking forward to pushing its boundaries even further, according to a statement shared with Televisual. Season 2 arrives on September 3, with Theo James, Kaya Scodelario, and Vinnie Jones all returning alongside newcomer Hugh Bonneville.

‘House of Guinness’ is also headed back for Season 2, with the six-episode continuation set to begin filming in January of 2027. Creator Steven Knight said he’s thrilled to continue the story of one of the world’s greatest dynasties, adding that he’s eager to dive deeper into the characters and their increasingly complex relationships, according to comments given to Variety. Anthony Boyle, Louis Partridge, Emily Fairn, Fionn O’Shea, and James Norton are all expected back for the next chapter.

‘Legends,’ Neil Forsyth’s undercover customs thriller starring Steve Coogan, has similarly been renewed for a second season that will push the story further into the late 1990s, with production also scheduled to begin in 2027. On the unscripted side, ‘Being Gordon Ramsay’ is confirmed for Season 2, giving fans more of the chef’s blend of cooking and personal storytelling.

Several other shows already had their futures locked in but received fresh updates alongside the news. ‘Black Mirror’ Season 8 is already in production, while Rapman’s superpowered drama ‘Supacell’ has wrapped filming on its second season entirely. ‘Black Doves’ is set to return later this year, bringing back Keira Knightley, Ben Whishaw, Sarah Lancashire, and Ambika Mod, with Neve Campbell joining the cast for the new run.

Reality television is getting plenty of love too. ‘At Home With the Furys’ is currently filming its third season, ‘Love Is Blind: UK’ has already secured a fourth season before its third has even aired, and ‘The Rest Is Football’ returns for the 2026/27 Premier League season with an added exclusive Sunday recap episode alongside its regular Monday and Friday installments.

Rounding out the announcement is ‘Formula 1: Drive to Survive,’ which Netflix confirmed for a ninth season covering the ongoing 2026 championship, expected sometime in 2027.

Anne Mensah, Netflix’s Vice President of UK Content, tied the sprawling announcement together by saying audiences clearly loved these shows, calling it a delight to bring them all back and thanking the producers, actors, writers, directors, and crews behind each series.

With gangster sagas, superhero dramas, dystopian anthologies, and reality staples all confirmed to keep rolling, Netflix’s UK output shows no signs of slowing down anytime soon.
