Development for the new Daredevil series started in March 2022. The series was officially announced in July 2022 as an 18-episode season. After filming began, Marvel Studios decided to rework the show in September 2023. The original 18 episodes were split into two separate seasons, and Scardapane, Benson, and Moorhead were brought in to reimagine the story. Filming for Season 2 took place in New York from February to July 2025.
Season 2 is set to premiere on Disney+ on March 24, 2026, with eight episodes. The show is part of Phase Six of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Marvel has already confirmed a third season as of September 2025.
The newly released teaser shows Daredevil facing high-stakes battles and tense confrontations, promising plenty of action for fans.
The teaser hints that this season will be darker and more intense than the first. With a mix of returning characters and new additions, it looks like Daredevil will face some of his toughest challenges yet. What do you think of the teaser and the upcoming season?
