Lego’s Marvel and DC lineups have kept fans busy tracking rumor after rumor throughout 2026, with recent leaks already pointing to a Lego PlayStation set featuring an Astro Bot bonus, nearly 20 additional Star Wars builds, and multiple ‘Avengers: Doomsday’-themed sets including a Sentinel Battle and New Avengers Tower. That steady stream of speculation shows no signs of slowing down, with two brand-new sets now reportedly joining the lineup.

Unlike the recent wave of Marvel leaks tied directly to ‘Avengers: Doomsday,’ these two newly reported sets shift focus toward entirely different corners of both universes. According to details shared by Lego leaker UniBricks, one build brings the Spider-Verse into physical brick form for the first time in a specific way, while the other turns attention toward one of DC’s most iconic villains in a dramatically oversized display piece.

The Marvel set, reportedly numbered 67016 and named Peni’s Sp//der Mech, is said to include minifigures of Peni Parker, Miles Morales, and The Spot. The build is expected to showcase Peni’s signature mech from the ‘Spider-Verse’ films, though it remains unclear exactly which version of the machine Lego plans to recreate, and no official piece count or pricing has surfaced yet.

Meanwhile, the DC-focused set, reportedly numbered 67012 and titled Joker Art, is described as an 18+ display build containing 1,849 pieces with a projected price of $169.99. Current leaks point to a January 1, 2027 release date, positioning it as a genuinely substantial addition to Lego’s lineup of adult-oriented art sets.

What makes the Joker Art set particularly notable is its reported departure from the flat mosaic format Lego has traditionally used for its superhero-themed art builds, including 2022’s Jim Lee Batman Collection featuring Batman, Joker, and Harley Quinn. Instead, leaks suggest this new build will follow a design style closer to 2023’s Amazing Spider-Man art set, which used a more three-dimensional portrait approach with the character appearing to physically break through the frame.

That shift toward dimensional artwork would mark a meaningful evolution for Lego’s villain-focused display pieces, potentially giving the Joker set a much more dynamic presence than earlier flat mosaic designs allowed. Given the significant piece count and premium price point, the set appears aimed squarely at adult collectors and display-focused builders rather than younger audiences.

The Peni Parker set would mark a notable first for Lego’s Marvel lineup, since the character has never previously received her own dedicated set within the theme despite the growing popularity of the ‘Spider-Verse’ films. That absence has become increasingly conspicuous as Lego has steadily expanded its Spider-Verse offerings in recent years, including a dedicated minifigure series released in 2025.

With both sets still unconfirmed by Lego itself and details continuing to circulate primarily through leaker accounts and database placeholders, fans should treat the specific piece counts, pricing, and release windows as speculative for now. Given how frequently recent Lego leaks have proven accurate ahead of official announcements, though, both builds look like promising additions for collectors heading into 2027.
