Stranger Things 5 will be released in three parts, with Volume 1 premiering on November 26, Volume 2 on December 25, and the grand finale arriving on December 31, 2025. The season will feature eight episodes and, like previous seasons, will be produced by the Duffer Brothers along with Shawn Levy and Dan Cohen.
The new trailer teases the aftermath of the events from Season 4, where Vecna’s plan left Hawkins in ruins and opened terrifying rifts between worlds.
A year later, in the fall of 1987, Eleven and her friends must face the deadly villain once more. This time, the stakes are higher than ever as the military gets involved, turning Hawkins into a war zone and forcing Eleven to go on the run.
Returning to the cast are familiar faces including Millie Bobby Brown, Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Finn Wolfhard, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Noah Schnapp, Sadie Sink, Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton, Joe Keery, Maya Hawke, Priah Ferguson, and Brett Gelman. Amybeth McNulty, who appeared briefly in Season 4, joins the main cast this time, and Terminator legend Linda Hamilton is set to make her Stranger Things debut.
The trailer has already stirred excitement among fans online, hinting at major battles, emotional reunions, and a final showdown with Vecna. With dark visuals, haunting music, and flashes of the Upside Down, the preview promises that this last season will deliver everything fans have been waiting for.
As the series nears its conclusion, fans are preparing to say goodbye to the show that became a global phenomenon since its debut in 2016. The final season looks to wrap up the story of Eleven and her friends as they face their biggest, and possibly final, fight.
