Nickelodeon Actress Dead at 33 –Cause of Death Confirmed

Former Nickelodeon star Kianna Underwood has died after being hit by a car in Brooklyn early Friday morning. She was 33 years old. Law enforcement sources told TMZ that Underwood was crossing the street at Pitkin Avenue and Mother Gaston Boulevard when a gray vehicle struck her. The car dragged her for nearly two blocks before stopping.

Emergency responders arrived at the scene around 6:49 a.m. and pronounced Underwood dead. Police have not made any arrests in connection with the hit-and-run, and the driver remains unknown.

Underwood was known for her role on the 2005 season of Nickelodeon’s All That. She also voiced Fuschia Glover on Little Bill for 23 episodes between 1999 and 2004. In addition to television, she acted in films such as The 24 Hour Woman, starring alongside Rosie Perez, Patti LuPone, and Marianne Jean-Baptiste. She also had a small part in Death of a Dynasty, a comedy featuring Kevin Hart. Outside of screen roles, Underwood spent a year on stage as little Inez in the first national tour of Hairspray.

Underwood was born in New York City and later moved to Los Angeles, according to The Post.
