Nicolas Cage Stars in Chilling Teaser for Biblical Horror ‘The Carpenter’s Son’
A new teaser has been released for The Carpenter’s Son, a French-American horror film set to hit theaters in Fall 2025.
The film stars Nicolas Cage, FKA Twigs, Noah Jupe, and Souheila Yacoub, and is written and directed by Lotfy Nathan.
The story draws inspiration from the Infancy Gospel of Thomas, a 2nd-century text that explores the childhood of Jesus.
This gives the film a mix of historical setting and dark supernatural elements. Cage plays the Carpenter, FKA Twigs takes on the role of the Mother, Noah Jupe stars as the Boy, and Souheila Yacoub plays a supporting role.

Filming began in September 2024 in Megara. During production, Cage reportedly had a frightening encounter with a swarm of bees in one of the caves used for shooting. In May, Magnolia Pictures acquired the U.S. distribution rights for the film.
The newly released teaser sets a tense and eerie tone, hinting at a story that blends family drama with supernatural horror. The short preview promises a dark and gripping tale, filled with suspense and ancient legend.
