North West, the 12-year-old daughter of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, made waves on social media again with her latest Instagram post. The post, her third official upload on the platform, appeared on Christmas Day and immediately caught the attention of fans.

In the photos, North showed off her long blue hair and a new set of diamond “shark” grillz. The grillz were created by celebrity jeweler Johnny Dang & Co. Each tooth is pointed, giving the set a striking, shark-like appearance.

A video on Instagram Stories highlighted the grillz as well, showing off the sparkling new jewelry.

North wore a matching outfit for the photos: a Balenciaga Tat hoodie priced at $1,700 and sweatpants for $1,400. She completed the look with rare Chrome Hearts x Rick Owens sneakers, which are sold out but available online for around $22,000.

She also wore a Chrome Hearts Silichrome Infinity Cross Ring in bright blue that matched her hair. The ring was a limited edition, but fans can still find similar pieces online for under $500.

Some images appeared to be taken inside the family’s all-white private jet, with dramatic lighting that emphasized the glittering jewelry. Another photo showed North with Johnny Dang in a festive backyard setting, decorated for the holidays at the Kardashian home in Hidden Hills. Reports say Travis Scott, father of her cousins Stormi and Aire, recently got a new set of grillz from Dang as well.

Although this is the first time the diamond grillz have appeared on social media, Kanye West has reportedly been planning them for some time. Kim Kardashian also shared a selfie with Johnny Dang on her Instagram a few weeks ago, teasing the jewelry ahead of North’s post.

The post has caused some backlash, as critics question whether such fashion choices are appropriate for a pre-teen. On a recent episode of “Call Her Daddy,” Kardashian addressed the criticism and defended her daughter’s choices. “It’s really hard and it’s really interesting because all the kids are wearing the same things,” she said. “Unfortunately, we made that mistake in front of the whole world.”
