NYCC 2025 Panel Preview: Here’s Everything Fans Need to Know
New York Comic Con is back for 2025! This year’s event will take place at the Javits Center from October 9–12 and promises to be bigger and more thrilling than ever. Fans can look forward to celebrity appearances, behind-the-scenes insights, hands-on experiences, and sneak previews of upcoming releases across movies, TV, comics, and gaming. From major blockbuster panels to intimate Q&A sessions with creators, there’s something for every kind of pop culture enthusiast.
The organizers have just revealed the full schedule of panels, special programming, and exclusive events, giving attendees a chance to explore the latest in comics, entertainment, and interactive experiences like never before.
1. Up Next From Marvel Television and Marvel Animation
On Saturday, October 11th at 1:30 PM, the Empire Stage will feature a special Marvel panel. Fans will get an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at Marvel’s upcoming Disney+ shows, with in-depth discussions and insights from guests representing Marvel Television and Marvel Animation.
2. Probably the Best Invincible Panel in the History of Invincible Panels
On Friday, October 9th at 5:30 PM, the Empire Stage will host a special Invincible panel. Emmy-Award winner Steven Yeun, Gillian Jacobs, co-creator and co-showrunner Robert Kirkman, and members of the voice cast will take part in exclusive conversations, offering behind-the-scenes insights and teases for Season Four. Fans can expect updates on key characters like Eve, Omni-Man, and William, along with surprises and discussions that no Invincible fan will want to miss.
3. Paramount Pictures presents The Running Man
On Friday, October 10th at 11:00 AM, the Empire Stage will feature a Paramount Pictures panel for the upcoming film, The Running Man. 7. HBO / HBO Max presents A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms – Journey into Westeros with Dunk and Egg
On Thursday, October 9th at 12:00 PM, the Empire Stage will host a panel for HBO’s new series, A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms. Co-creators George R.R. Martin and Ira Parker, along with actors Peter Claffey and Dexter Sol Ansell, will guide attendees through Westeros a century before Game of Thrones, exploring the adventures of Ser Duncan the Tall and his loyal squire, Egg.
8. BAT-FAM SNEAK PEEK SCREENING AND Q&A
On Saturday, October 11th at 12:30 PM in Room 405, Warner Bros. Animation and Prime Video will host an exclusive sneak peek of the new animated series BAT-FAM. Executive producer and showrunner Mike Roth, along with surprise cast members, will give attendees an in-depth look at this next chapter in the Caped Crusader’s adventures. The series picks up after the hit film MERRY LITTLE BATMAN, following Batman, Alfred, and young Damian Wayne—now Little Batman—alongside new members of Wayne Manor as they navigate the challenges and fun of life as a superhero family. Attendees will also be among the first to preview an episode of the show.
9. HBO’s IT: WELCOME TO DERRY: Never-Before-Seen Clips and Conversation with Cast and Creatives
On Saturday, October 11th at 11:00 AM on the Empire Stage, HBO will host a panel for its upcoming series IT: WELCOME TO DERRY. The event will feature cast members and creators, including director Andy Muschietti, executive producer Barbara Muschietti, co-showrunners Jason Fuchs and Brad Caleb Kane, along with actors Taylour Paige, Jovan Adepo, Chris Chalk, James Remar, Kimberly Guerrero, and Stephen Rider. 12. MERCY: Exclusive First Look with Chris Pratt, Kali Reis & Timur Bekmambetov
On Thursday, October 9th at 2:30 PM on the Empire Stage, Chris Pratt, Kali Reis, and director Timur Bekmambetov will give an exclusive first look at the upcoming sci-fi crime thriller Mercy. The panel will delve into the film’s suspenseful story, where an LAPD detective has 90 minutes to prove his innocence to an advanced A.I. judge, and will feature insights from the cast and director on bringing this intense near-future tale to life.
13. X-Men: Days of Future Past Reunion (James McAvoy, Nicholas Hoult & Elliot Page)
On Sunday, October 12th at 12:00 PM on the Empire Stage, James McAvoy, Nicholas Hoult, and Elliot Page will reunite for a special X-Men panel celebrating their memorable roles in the film franchise. On Saturday, October 11th at 6:15 PM on the Main Stage, FX will host a sneak peek and Q&A for “The Beauty,” a new international thriller from Ryan Murphy. Stars Evan Peters, Anthony Ramos, Jeremy Pope, Rebecca Hall, and Ashton Kutcher will discuss filming the sci-fi action series across New York, Paris, Venice, and Rome. Based on the comic books by Jeremy Haun and Jason A. Hurley, the series centers on a sexually transmitted virus that enhances beauty but comes with deadly consequences. “The Beauty” is set to premiere on Hulu in early 2026.
16. Marvel Comics: Next Big Thing
On Saturday, October 11th at 3:30 PM in Room 405, Marvel Comics will host its “Next Big Thing” panel, the weekend’s premier comics event. Editor-in-Chief C.B. Cebulski, VP and Executive Editor Nick Lowe, Ultimate Editor Wil Moss, writer Phillip Kennedy Johnson, and other top creators will reveal what’s next for the Marvel Universe. Attendees will get sneak peeks at upcoming storylines, including the climactic Ultimate Endgame, and can receive an exclusive giveaway comic book at the conclusion of the panel.
17. Transformers & G.I. Joe: A New Era for The Energon Universe
The “Transformers & G.I. Joe: A New Era for The Energon Universe” panel will dive into the latest developments across the interconnected worlds of Transformers, G.I. Joe, and Void Rivals. Creators Robert Kirkman, Joshua Williamson, Dan Mora, Tom Reilly, Jorge Corona, Conor Hughes, and Skybound Executive Editor Ben Abernathy will share new revelations about the Energon Universe, including a special surprise. Fans will get an in-depth look at the exciting changes shaping this expanded comic universe.
18. TMNT: What’s Next for the Heroes in a Half Shell?
The “TMNT: What’s Next for the Heroes in a Half Shell?” panel will explore IDW’s acclaimed Ninja Turtles comics, giving fans an inside look at the new run by Gene Luen Yang and Freddie Williams II, along with updates on the popular Battle Nexus event. Filled with surprises and exciting reveals, the panel is sure to have fans shouting “cowabunga!” It will take place on Friday, October 10, 2025, from 5:15 PM to 6:15 PM in Room 1C03 at the Javits Center.
