‘Obsession’ Star Inde Navarrette Rewrites the Rules of Off-Duty Style in Jaw-Dropping New Photos
Inde Navarrette is in the middle of the kind of year most actors only dream about. Her turn in the horror hit ‘Obsession’ has fueled Oscar buzz and a wave of offers, and Focus Features started an awards campaign for her in the fall of 2026. The attention has followed her from set to street style.
That spotlight has been especially bright this week. She attended the Christian Dior Womenswear Spring/Summer 2027 show during Paris Fashion Week on Sept. 29, and her beauty look got its own coverage. She wore a dusty, denim-blue eyeliner that circled the top lash line, done by makeup artist Kayli Rachelle using a limited-edition Dior eye shadow.
Now she is back in the feed with something far more casual, as the actress appeared in two photos. The first is a close shot of her in dark sunglasses, a gray cardigan thrown over a blue striped button-down, and a burgundy tie, with her wavy dark hair falling past her shoulders.

The second is a mirror selfie that shows the full outfit. She pairs the shirt-and-tie combination with loose, wide-leg jeans cuffed at the hem, a small black handbag and pointed black heels, phone in hand. The post does not say where or when the photos were taken.
The look is a playful mix of schoolwear and office dressing, with the denim doing most of the relaxed work. That is a fitting choice for an actress who recently fronted a denim campaign. She stars in Gap’s Fall 2026 “Denim on your own” campaign alongside Malcolm Todd, with photography by Bjorn Iooss.
Her own feeds have been busy too. Complex reposted two of her sunny TikTok selfies on Sept. 25, and they quickly made the rounds online. A fan site also reports that she is on the front cover of Cosmopolitan France’s October edition.
The fashion moments are landing alongside some big career ones. She will make her ‘Saturday Night Live’ debut as host of the Season 52 Halloween episode on Oct. 31. The episode is listed with Gracie Abrams.
Her film slate is just as full. She has already wrapped the survival thriller ‘Invertigo,’ which traps a group of teenagers high above the ground on a roller coaster and is in post-production. She is also attached to star in the Apple movie ‘The Waffle House Index,’ produced by Plan B, with Louis Paxton directing, and she will executive produce.
The biggest project of all is still on the horizon. She is set to play Rogue in Jake Schreier’s Marvel ‘X-Men’ reboot, tentatively scheduled for 2028. Netflix Junkie reports that she turned down a role in ‘Heat 2’ after reportedly signing on for the Marvel project.
It is a long way from where she started. Before ‘Obsession,’ she played Sarah Cushing in ‘Superman & Lois’ and streamed ‘Call of Duty’ on Twitch between acting jobs. Her rise has clearly not cooled her instincts for off-duty style.
For now, the cardigan-and-tie photos are a low-key follow-up to a loud week in Paris. With ‘Saturday Night Live’ only weeks away and more projects in the pipeline, fans should expect plenty more fresh looks from her soon.
