Fox has released a new trailer for its upcoming series, Memory of a Killer, starring Patrick Dempsey and Michael Imperioli. The show is set to premiere this January.
The series follows Angelo Doyle, played by Dempsey, a hitman who begins to suffer from early-onset Alzheimer’s. As his memory starts to fade, Angelo begins to confront his conscience. He teams up with his friend Dutch, played by Imperioli, who runs a restaurant as a front for a criminal operation. Together, they must protect Angelo’s family from danger.

According to Fox, Memory of a Killer shows Angelo as “exceptionally resourceful and talented, the best of the best. But he’s about to be tested like never before — and now every minute counts.”
The series adds, “This is only made more difficult when he discovers that his wife’s recent death may not have been an accident. So, when someone comes after his daughter — who is pregnant — it’s clear the wall between his lives has been breached. Now Angelo must hunt down his mortal enemy while continuing to carry out hits without giving away his diagnosis and still making it home in time to cook dinner for his daughter.”
The cast also includes Richard Harmon as Joe, another hitman; Odeya Rush as Maria, Angelo’s daughter; Daniel David Stewart as Jeff, Maria’s husband; Peter Gadiot as Dave, a local detective; and Gina Torres as Special Agent Linda Grant.
Memory of a Killer is produced by Warner Bros. Television and FOX Entertainment. Executive producers include Patrick Dempsey, Aaron Zelman, Glenn Kessler, Ed Whitmore, Tracey Malone, Cathy Schulman, and David Schulner. Arthur Sarkissian, Martin Campbell, and Peter Bouckaert of Eyeworks also serve as executive producers.
