Peacock Goes Full Binge: All Episodes of ‘The Office’ Spin-Off to Premiere at Once
Peacock is shaking things up with the premiere of its new The Office spinoff, The Paper. Instead of the originally planned staggered release, all 10 episodes of Season 1 will drop at once on September 4, 2025, according to Variety.
This means fans can binge the entire season from day one, rather than waiting for weekly episodes.
The Paper is a mockumentary-style comedy created by Greg Daniels and Michael Koman, set in the same universe as the original The Office. The series follows a documentary crew in Toledo, Ohio, as they cover the struggling Toledo Truth-Teller, a historic newspaper trying to get back on its feet with a team of volunteer reporters.

Domhnall Gleeson stars as Ned Sampson, the new editor-in-chief, while Sabrina Impacciatore plays Esmeralda Grand. The cast also includes Chelsea Frei, Melvin Gregg, Gbemisola Ikumelo, Alex Edelman, Ramona Young, Tim Key, and Oscar Nunez reprising his The Office role as accountant Oscar Martinez.
News of the spinoff first emerged in January 2024, when it was revealed that Daniels was developing a follow-up series with new characters in a fresh office setting. By March, it was announced that Michael Koman would co-create the show. Peacock officially ordered the series in May 2024, and the title The Paper was revealed in June. Production began in July 2024.
The show is executive produced by Greg Daniels, Michael Koman, Ricky Gervais, Stephen Merchant, Howard Klein, and Ben Silverman, with Universal Television handling production. Fans can expect a fresh mix of humor, office-style antics, and mockumentary charm in this new series.
“We wanted to give viewers the option to dive in and experience the whole story at once,” a Peacock spokesperson said about the shift to the binge model.
The Paper is set to premiere exclusively on Peacock on September 4, 2025.
