Pedro Pascal, Dua Lipa, Kristen Wiig and Nicole Kidman Lip-Sync ADÉLA’s ‘Nicole Kidman’ at Chanel
Every so often, a song escapes the charts and becomes a full-blown cultural event. This fall, that song is ADÉLA’s ‘Nicole Kidman,’ a pop track so inescapable that millions of fans have been recreating it on TikTok for weeks.
The Slovak singer released the single’s music video on September 4 alongside her debut album, ‘PRIMA.’ Since then, the track has climbed the charts, inspired a viral trend paying tribute to the Oscar-winning actress, and found its way into some of the most exclusive rooms in fashion.
The latest and biggest moment came at Paris Fashion Week. At Chanel’s Spring/Summer 2027 show, Kristen Wiig, Pedro Pascal, Dua Lipa and Nicole Kidman herself were filmed taking part in a video set to ADÉLA’s hit, and the clip has already pulled in more than 1.8M views on Pop Crave’s post alone.
In the short clip, Pascal looks straight into the camera wearing dark-framed glasses, a textured brown jacket and a black turtleneck, with the venue’s stone steps behind him. The group lip-syncs to the song, and fans online were quick to share their favorite lines, with one viral post joking about Pascal’s part.

Other footage from the evening, captured by Variety, shows Pascal and Lipa chatting while Kidman danced to Britney Spears’ ‘Gimme More.’ Another video circulating on TikTok shows Lipa, Pascal, Demie and Kidman singing ‘Take on Me’ together. ADÉLA’s reaction was reportedly pure delight.
The numbers explain why the song has become so hard to avoid. According to Billboard, it reached No. 3 on the Global 200 chart dated October 3, with 32.5 million streams worldwide in a single week, and it climbed to No. 22 on the Billboard Hot 100.
It also hit No. 2 on Spotify’s Daily Top Songs Global chart on September 21, with another ADÉLA song, ‘Ain’t in LA,’ at No. 3 the same day. WWD reports the track has more than 78 million Spotify streams and 2.5 million shares on TikTok.
ADÉLA’s story is just as notable. The 22-year-old, whose full name is Adéla Jergová, made history earlier this summer when ‘Ain’t in LA’ made her the first Slovak artist to enter the Billboard Hot 100, and ‘PRIMA’ debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard 200.
The song grew out of a night when ADÉLA attended a Golden Globes event, got fully glammed up in a tight corset and felt like a movie star. She had just watched ‘Eyes Wide Shut’ for the first time and became obsessed with Kidman, whom she sees as the movie star.
The music video, directed by Hannah Lux Davis, plays on that idea with references to ‘Eyes Wide Shut,’ ‘Moulin Rouge!,’ ‘Birth’ and ‘Babygirl,’ along with Kidman’s famous AMC cinema ad.
Kidman has embraced it. At the London premiere of ‘Practical Magic 2,’ she told a fan she knew exactly who ADÉLA was and planned to see her perform in Nashville, and the next day she made her TikTok debut using ‘Ain’t in LA.’ On ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,’ she also praised the video for covering so many of her films, including some she said she can barely remember.
The song’s reach has gone well beyond the charts. At the Portola Music Festival, an American Sign Language interpreter’s animated rendition of the track during ADÉLA’s set became an instant social media sensation.
Now the song has gone from fan cover videos to the front row of a Chanel show, with Kidman herself joining in. It is hard to imagine a bigger sign that a pop tribute has landed.
