‘Percy Jackson’ Season 3 Adds Dafne Keen and Saara Chaudry to Its Star-Studded Cast – Characters Revealed

Disney+ is expanding the world of Percy Jackson and the Olympians with exciting new cast additions for the show’s third season.

According to Disney+, Dafne Keen and Saara Chaudry will join the series in recurring roles. Keen, known for her work in Deadpool & Wolverine and His Dark Materials, will play Artemis, the Greek goddess of the moon and the hunt.

Chaudry, from The Mysterious Benedict Society and The Breadwinner, will take on the role of Zoë Nightshade, Artemis’ loyal lieutenant and an immortal hunter.

Keen and Chaudry join other new season three cast members, Levi Chrisopulos and Olive Abercrombie, who are playing siblings Leo and Bianca di Angelo.

Season three is currently being filmed in Vancouver and is based on The Titan’s Curse, the third book in Rick Riordan’s popular series about the young Greek demigod Percy Jackson, played by Walker Scobell. Returning cast members include Leah Sava Jeffries, Aryan Simhadri, Charlie Bushnell, Dior Goodjohn, and Daniel Diemer.

According to Disney+, Keen’s character Artemis “prefers the freedom of the outdoors to the politics and formality of Olympus. Her immortal hunters are her constant companions, and she has little contact with mortals, making her a bit out of touch with modern human culture. She is regal and an honorable fighter who will stand up to grave challenges.” Artemis is known as a fierce and independent goddess, leading her hunters with skill and fairness.

Chaudry’s character Zoë Nightshade is described as “the loyal lieutenant to Artemis and first among the immortal hunters. She has been at Artemis’ side for more than 2,000 years. She is a strong warrior and sometimes overly serious in ways that amuse the demigods, but she is also a crucial quest member, willing to strive and sacrifice for the good of all.” Zoë is an important ally to the demigods in their adventures, bringing both wisdom and bravery to every mission.

Season two of Percy Jackson and the Olympians is set to premiere on Disney+ on December 10, giving fans more of the magical world filled with gods, monsters, and heroic quests.

With the addition of Keen and Chaudry, season three promises to bring even more action, adventure, and powerful characters as Percy and his friends continue their journey through the dangerous and exciting world of Greek mythology.
