Camp Half-Blood has never been a safe place for long, but the next chapter looks like it will test it more than any before. The Disney+ fantasy adventure has built its audience on mythology, humor and heart, and now it is turning down the lights.
A brand-new trailer has arrived, and it makes one thing very clear. Whatever came before was only the warm-up.
The new trailer for ‘Percy Jackson and the Olympians’ Season 3 has been released, and the season premieres Nov 20 on Disney+ and Hulu. It launches with 2 episodes, followed by 2 more each week after that.

The season adapts ‘The Titan’s Curse,’ the third book in Rick Riordan’s series. It is the book’s first live-action adaptation. The story follows Percy as he sets out to rescue Annabeth after she is captured by the forces of Kronos.
According to the official synopsis, the quest means freeing a goddess in chains, confronting the Titan’s curse and avoiding the fall of Olympus. Percy has Grover by his side and must join some unlikely questmates to face a prophecy with dire consequences.
The trailer plays up that dread. Percy grapples with a dream about the Great Prophecy, and his voiceover warns that something bad is coming.
Walker Scobell has teased that the season is darker than what came before. Tech Advisor notes that ‘The Titan’s Curse’ is slightly different from the first two books, taking place in winter rather than summer.
The cast has described it as a more epic chapter. Scobell has also said the book is where the story really hooks into the meat of the plot, as the final pieces of the Great Prophecy and Kronos come together.
Season 2 set the tone with a post-credits scene that teased Annabeth leading Percy onto a school dance floor. That small moment hinted at the emotional stakes now coming into play.

The cast list is packed. Scobell returns as Percy, alongside Leah Sava Jeffries as Annabeth, Aryan Simhadri as Grover, Charlie Bushnell as Luke and Tamara Smart as Thalia.
Newcomers include Levi Chrisopulos and Olive Abercrombie as siblings Nico and Bianca di Angelo, who spent years trapped in a Las Vegas hotel before being recruited to Camp Half-Blood. Dafne Keen plays Artemis, with Saara Chaudry as her lieutenant Zoë Nightshade.
The gods are also getting an upgrade. Kate McKinnon appears as Aphrodite, Hubert Smielecki as Apollo and Ming-Na Wen as Hera. Holt McCallany plays Atlas, the Titan general, while David Costabile portrays Dr. Thorn and Jesse L. Martin appears as Annabeth’s father, Frederick Chase.
One of the season’s central relationships is between Percy and Thalia. As another child of the Big Three, Thalia is connected to the same prophecy that has weighed on Percy.
Executive producer Craig Silverstein has said their relationship will play a major role. Scobell noted that the pair are so similar they fill the same spot on a team, which creates natural friction.
That tension carries over from the end of Season 2, where Percy openly says he does not want Thalia to join them. The new season follows what happens when circumstances force them together anyway.
The series was renewed for a third season ahead of the second season’s premiere. Production took place in Vancouver. Jonathan E. Steinberg and Rick Riordan created the show, with Dan Shotz and Craig Silverstein among the executive producers.
The first teaser trailer debuted at D23, where Scobell appeared on stage with an army of Artemis’s hunters and surprise guests Ming-Na Wen and Andra Day. The moment was designed to echo the themes of the upcoming season.
The first two seasons are available on Disney+, so fans have time to catch up.
Given the book’s reputation and the trailer’s tone, viewers should brace for a heavier season. The stakes are higher, the villains are bolder and the cast is bigger than ever.
For readers, the story is a fan favorite. For newcomers, the trailer offers a clear hook: a race against time to save a friend.
