Pokémon Gen 10 Details Reportedly Leaked Online Including The Game’s Title
New leaks about the next generation of Pokémon games suggest that Gen 10 could be called Pokémon Wind and Pokémon Waves. According to sources circulating online, these titles are planned as exclusives for the Nintendo Switch 2.
The information comes from documents linked to Pokémon creator Shigeru Ohmori and builds on previous leaks, sometimes referred to as the Pokémon “Teraleak.”
The games are reportedly set in Southeast Asia, with Indonesia serving as the main inspiration.
This contradicts earlier rumors that the new region would be based on Greece. The overarching theme of both games appears to be “Infinity,” highlighting endless exploration and evolution. A new battle mechanic called Tenko-Waza, possibly translating to Weather Moves, has also been mentioned.
One of the standout Pokémon in these games is a Seed Pokémon, a baby species found in resort areas. According to the leaks, it has never been seen evolved, and when it reaches the main legendary’s island, it can evolve into forms with potentially infinite variations.
The protagonist is a 13-year-old city kid from Kuala Lumpur whose mother wins a lottery, taking them on a vacation to a resort island. There, the protagonist meets a local child who serves as a rival and friend. The mother, 33, works from home and uses the trip to relax.
A key figure in the story is a 75-year-old hotel chairman who initially wanted resorts where humans and Pokémon could coexist but became antagonistic after a personal tragedy involving Pokémon.
His 15-year-old heir, possibly his second or adopted child, works within the organization but remains naive about the world. The Land Development Team, the game’s “evil team,” is a mercenary group destroying nature for profit.
Another important character is a 21-year-old nature guide called the “Survival Professor,” who studies Pokémon that embody weather. The leaks suggest that the game starts in a large tourist city rather than a small town. Players begin their adventure at a big resort hotel, which may function like an MMO lobby where they can see and interact with other players, take on quests, and explore. Jungle survival, underwater exploration, and riding Pokémon are expected to be key features.
The story seems to focus heavily on the connection between people, nature, and Pokémon, exploring themes of responsibility and legacy.
The legendary Pokémon featured in the leaks include the Storm Package Pokémon, an elderly male guiding humans and Pokémon with wind powers, and the Wave Package Pokémon, an elderly female who guides with the power of waves. Both only accept humans who have properly raised breed Pokémon.
