Amazon Prime Video just dropped the trailer for a new British psychological thriller called Malice, set to hit screens on November 14. According to Amazon Prime Video, the show, created and written by James Wood, stars Jack Whitehall, David Duchovny, and Carice van Houten.

It’s a six-episode series that promises to keep viewers on edge. The story follows a male nanny, played by Jack Whitehall as Adam Healey, who starts working for a rich family. But there’s a twist, his motives might not be as innocent as they seem.

David Duchovny plays Jamie Tanner, and Carice van Houten is his wife, Nat Tanner. The cast also includes Christine Adams as Jules, Nat’s best friend, and Raza Jaffrey as Jules’ husband, Damien.

Younger actors like Harry Gilby, Teddie Allen, Phoenix Laroche, Gloria Garcia, Rianna Kellman, and Jade Khan round out the lineup.James Wood not only wrote the series but also serves as an executive producer.

Malice is a joint project between Expectation Entertainment and Tailspin Films, made for Amazon Prime Video. Filming kicked off in London in February 2024 and wrapped up in July 2024 after 18 weeks. Some scenes were shot on the Greek island of Paros, adding a scenic backdrop to the suspense.

All six episodes will drop at once on November 14, so fans can binge the whole thing. The newly released trailer gives a sneak peek into the creepy vibe and intense drama coming our way.I think Malice sounds like it could be a gripping watch, with a solid cast and a plot that seems full of surprises.

The idea of a shady nanny in a wealthy household feels fresh and unsettling. What do you think about the trailer or the show’s premise? Drop your thoughts in the comments!
