Priyanka Chopra Jonas is making waves in New York City as she promotes her latest movie. Produced by the Russo Brothers’ AGBO and Chopra’s own company, Purple Pebble Pictures, the movie has been praised for showing a realistic view of pirate life. Chopra told Variety, “We are making an attempt to show what it was actually like to be a pirate in the 1700s, rather than recreating Pirates of the Caribbean.”

She is filming the second season of Citadel, a popular spy series, and is set to return to Indian cinema with the road-trip movie Jee Le Zaraa later this year.
