Quentin Tarantino is bringing a lost chapter of Kill Bill to life in an unexpected way. The unfilmed segment, called The Lost Chapter: Yuki’s Revenge, will be released through Fortnite, letting fans experience the action in a digital setting.

Uma Thurman returns as Beatrix Kiddo, also known as “The Bride,” continuing her quest for revenge against those who wronged her years ago.

The new chapter focuses on Yuki, a character who comes to Los Angeles to confront Beatrix. Chaos ensues as the story unfolds, following the events after Beatrix defeated O-Ren Ishii and the Crazy 88. Fortnite’s teaser trailer showcases multiple characters from the game alongside this new action sequence, giving players a unique way to step into the world of Kill Bill.

In addition to the Fortnite experience, Kill Bill Vol. 1 and Vol. 2 will be released theatrically as one combined movie. The director’s cut, titled Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair, will hit theaters starting December 5, with select venues also screening Yuki’s Revenge alongside the combined film, according to Fortnite’s official blog. Doors for the viewing experience open 30 minutes before showtime.

Fans have long speculated about the possibility of a third Kill Bill movie. Tarantino had once considered a story where Nikki, the daughter of Vernita Green, would hunt down Beatrix as an adult. However, he has repeatedly dismissed the idea of Kill Bill Vol. 3, leaving the Fortnite project as the closest thing to a new chapter in the saga.

Even without a new theatrical film, players can step into Beatrix’s shoes once again in Fortnite. The Lost Chapter: Yuki’s Revenge will be available in the top row of Discover starting November 30, allowing fans to engage with the story in a fresh, interactive way.
