At the 2026 Oscars, Rachel McAdams honored the late Diane Keaton with a heartfelt tribute while turning heads with her glamorous look. The 47-year-old actress wore a golden gown by Alberta Ferretti from the Fall/Winter 2026 Ready-to-Wear collection, a design that perfectly blended classic Hollywood style with modern craftsmanship.

The floor-length dress was covered in delicate sequins that shimmered under the lights, giving her a soft, radiant glow. One of the standout details was the cape-like overlay that draped over her shoulders and arms, giving the gown a regal, Grecian feel. The dress featured a modest high neckline and a sleek, elongated hem that completed the elegant silhouette.

McAdams paired the gown with striking jewelry from Sabyasachi High Jewellery. She wore 18k gold drop earrings with peach-toned morganites framed by diamonds, and a bold cocktail ring featuring a warm-toned sapphire surrounded by diamonds.

During the ceremony, McAdams spoke about the profound influence Keaton has had on her career. “My beloved Diane Keaton, who took me under her wing like I was her own daughter,” she said. “She taught me that no matter how long you’ve been doing this, you have to leave everything you’ve got on the table.”

This Oscars appearance marked the second time McAdams paid tribute to Keaton this year. In January, she mentioned the legendary actress during her Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony, praising the working actors she had learned from.

In a follow-up interview with Variety, McAdams opened up about her own struggles with self-doubt in acting. “I have great moments of self-doubt in every job. I remember Diane Keaton saying to me during The Family Stone that she still felt like acting didn’t come easily to her,” she said. “I was so surprised by that because she’s so effortless and she gives so much to it. But I still don’t feel like I have the art of acting figured out.”

McAdams’ appearance combined heartfelt emotion with high fashion, creating a memorable Oscars moment that celebrated both her talent and the mentor who shaped her career.

Rachel McAdams’ tribute was both touching and beautifully executed. The gown and jewelry perfectly matched the occasion, making her one of the night’s most elegant stars. What do you think about her look and tribute? Share your thoughts in the comments.
