Rachel McAdams turned heads on January 20 in a navy button-up bodycon dress while appearing on Jimmy Kimmel Live. The dress hugged her curves and featured a plunging neckline with a center slit, giving the outfit a bold, office-meets-glam vibe. She completed the look with a slicked-back updo and white open-toed mules, balancing chic style with elegance.

The appearance coincided with a huge milestone for McAdams—she received her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame that same day.

For the ceremony, she switched outfits, wearing a strapless black top with a dramatic peplum over a butter-yellow skirt. She joked to Kimmel about the mishap before her speech: I did drop my speech in the gutter right before I went up to do my speech. Got a little sewage on it. But it was fine!

Her boyfriend, Jamie Linden, joined her for the celebration, along with About Time co-star Domhnall Gleeson and director Sam Raimi, both of whom spoke about her career during the event. McAdams also playfully remarked that she felt supported by about half of Canada. Her star marks the 2,833rd on the famous boulevard and celebrates her rise from a small town in Ontario to international fame.

Rachel McAdams has stayed busy in both film and theater. She made her Broadway debut in Mary Jane in 2024, earning a Tony nomination. On screen, she has a major project releasing soon: Send Help, a psychological horror-thriller directed by Sam Raimi, who previously worked with her on Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

In the film, she plays Linda, a woman stranded on a deserted island with her difficult boss after a plane crash. Dylan O’Brien co-stars, and the film hits theaters on January 30, 2026. Early screenings at the TCL Chinese Theatre have already received praise, with critics calling it a must-see and some calling it McAdams’ best performance to date.

Alongside her career, McAdams continues to focus on her family, raising two children with Linden. With her Walk of Fame star, a high-profile horror thriller, and ongoing work in theater, 2026 is shaping up to be a huge year for the actress.

Rachel looked incredible in that curve-hugging navy dress, perfectly blending business-ready style with Hollywood glam. Do you think she nailed the look, and are you excited to see her in Send Help? Share your thoughts in the comments.
