Rachel Zegler is showing a daring new side of herself in her latest Vogue México feature. For the March 2025 issue, the actress swapped her signature fairy-tale gowns for a mix of bikinis, distressed leather, and edgy streetwear.
The shoot, captured by renowned photographers Inez and Vinoodh, presents Zegler with a bold, rock-and-roll energy that contrasts with her Broadway background.
The editorial includes sleek Miu Miu bodysuits, heavy Frame leather jackets, and vintage-style denim. Stylist Valentina Collado kept the wardrobe minimal but striking, allowing Zegler’s natural charisma and expressive features to shine.
Beyond film, Zegler continues to shine on stage. She recently finished a Broadway revival of Romeo + Juliet as Juliet, performing alongside Kit Connor, which received praise from critics and audiences alike. She also made her West End debut at the London Palladium as Eva Perón in a new production of Evita, directed by Jamie Lloyd. The stage has always felt like home to me, Zegler said about her London performance.
Fans can also look forward to Zegler in the comedy-drama She Gets It From Me, starring alongside Oscar-winner Marisa Tomei. The film follows a young woman searching for her birth mother while planning her own wedding. This project marks a move toward more grounded, character-driven roles after a string of blockbuster films.
