‘Reacher’ Season 4 Episode 5 Release Date and Time
Jack Reacher has never been one to sit still for long, and Prime Video’s hit adaptation of Lee Child’s novels has kept that same relentless pace since its 2022 debut. Alan Ritchson’s take on the towering drifter turned reluctant investigator has become appointment viewing for fans of hard-boiled action television, and Season 4 has only raised the stakes.
The season pulls Reacher into Philadelphia this time, adapting Lee Child’s 13th novel, ‘Gone Tomorrow’, a story that begins with a chance encounter on a subway car and spirals into a sprawling conspiracy. After a three-episode premiere event and a fourth installment last week, the show has settled into its familiar weekly rhythm, and fans are once again counting down the days until Wednesday night turns into Thursday morning.
Now that countdown is almost over. ‘Reacher‘ Season 4, Episode 5, titled “Bridge,” is set to premiere on Prime Video on August 26, 2026, continuing the season’s steady weekly drops after the show’s three-episode launch on August 12 and its fourth episode on August 19.
‘Reacher’ Season 4 Episode 5 Release Time
Like the rest of the season, “Bridge” will follow Prime Video’s standard rollout schedule for the series, arriving at 3 a.m. ET and 12 a.m. PT in the United States. Viewers in the United Kingdom can expect the episode around 8 a.m. BST, with other regions able to calculate their local time from those benchmarks.
The episode continues a pattern set since the season premiere, when Prime Video released the first three chapters together before shifting into single weekly episodes. That structure will carry the series through the remainder of its eight-episode run, with the season finale, “Cut,” scheduled for September 16.
What to Expect From “Bridge”
According to the official episode synopsis, “Bridge” finds Reacher becoming Philadelphia’s most wanted man after a misunderstanding spirals out of control. At the same time, old enemies resurface just as new threats begin closing in on him.
The episode also pushes Jacob Merrick, played by Christopher Rodriguez-Marquette, further into the fold. Jacob, Tamara Green (Sydelle Noel) and Russell Plum (Kevin Weisman) end up caught in a firefight together, an encounter that gives Jacob his first genuine opportunity to avenge his sister’s death, a storyline that has simmered since the season’s early episodes.
That grief has defined Jacob’s arc from the start. The character, a small-town cop with little experience beyond routine traffic stops, has been thrust into a much larger and deadlier situation involving the death of his sister and the disappearance of his nephew. Tamara, meanwhile, has served as something of a stabilizing force between Reacher and Jacob, helping rein in his emotional instincts while the group untangles a conspiracy tied to a missing flash drive that multiple dangerous parties are willing to kill for.
The Bigger Picture for ‘Reacher’ Season 4
‘Reacher’ Season 4 has continued the franchise’s tradition of blending brutal, hand-to-hand action with slow-burn mystery. Ritchson has reportedly overseen the show’s fight choreography himself since Season 3, a change that has been credited with giving the series a more grounded and physically intense style of combat.
The stakes for this season are notably high given how well its predecessor performed. Season 3 became a massive success for Prime Video, and that momentum has carried expectations into the new installments as the story barrels toward its finale.

Fans also have plenty to look forward to beyond “Bridge.” The spinoff series ‘Neagley’, starring Maria Sten as Reacher’s longtime ally Frances Neagley, will release its full first season on Prime Video on September 16, the same day ‘Reacher’ Season 4 wraps up. ‘Reacher’ has also already been renewed for a fifth season, which is expected to adapt Lee Child’s novel ‘Make Me’.
With “Bridge” promising a firefight, a fugitive Reacher and a major turning point for Jacob’s revenge arc, Episode 5 looks poised to push the season’s conspiracy into its most dangerous phase yet.
