Revealed: ‘American Horror Story’ Season 13 Cast Features Major Hollywood Stars
American Horror Story is returning for its 13th season, and the cast has officially been revealed. Ryan Murphy shared the announcement in a video released on Halloween, confirming that the new season is set to premiere in 2026.
The lineup includes big names who have been part of the Ryan Murphy universe before. Ariana Grande, Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Angela Bassett, Kathy Bates, Emma Roberts, Billie Lourd, Gabourey Sidibe, Leslie Grossman, and Jessica Lange are all returning or joining the series for this season.
Emma Roberts’ character Madison Montgomery makes a return, with a teaser quote saying, “Surprise, b***. I bet you thought you’d seen the last of me.” Fans of American Horror Story: Coven will recognize Madison from the previous seasons.
Ariana Grande, known for her role as Chanel #2 in Scream Queens, will reunite with Emma Roberts and Billie Lourd, who played Chanel Oberlin and Chanel #3. Jessica Lange is also returning to the show, marking a comeback after she had previously stated she would not return to the franchise.
Lange was first part of the series in its inaugural season, Murder House, playing the memorable character Constance Langdon.
Many of the actors have a long history with AHS. Roberts has appeared in multiple seasons, including Freak Show, Cult, Apocalypse, and 1984. Both Evan Peters and Sarah Paulson have been central figures in the series since the first season, appearing in Murder House, Asylum, Coven, Freak Show, Hotel, Roanoke, Cult, Apocalypse, and Double Feature. Angela Bassett, who co-produces 9-1-1 with Murphy, returns to reprise her role as Marie Laveau from Coven and Apocalypse.
With such a star-studded cast, Season 13 promises to bring back familiar faces while continuing the anthology’s signature mix of horror, drama, and suspense.
The return of Jessica Lange and the reunion of other key actors makes this season feel like a major event for American Horror Story fans.
