Rowan Blanchard made a memorable entrance at the premiere of Hulu’s The Testaments on Tuesday night at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures. The actress walked the purple carpet in a black sequined gown with an off-the-shoulder design and delicate white lace detailing. The dress featured a thigh-high slit and she paired it with black strappy heels, creating a striking, elegant look.

The premiere gathered the series’ cast ahead of its April 8 debut on Hulu and Hulu on Disney+. The show continues the story of The Handmaid’s Tale, adapting Margaret Atwood’s novel The Testaments. It follows Agnes, a dedicated young girl within Gilead, and Daisy, a newcomer from outside the strict society. Their growing friendship challenges the rules of Aunt Lydia’s elite school for future wives and sets off dramatic changes in their lives.

Other cast members at the event included Ann Dowd, Chase Infiniti, Lucy Halliday, Mabel Li, Amy Seimetz, Brad Alexander, Mattea Conforti, Zarrin Darnell-Martin, Eva Foote, Isolde Ardies, Shechinah Mpumlwana, Birva Pandya, and Kira Guloien.

The series is led by showrunner Bruce Miller and features executive producers such as Warren Littlefield, Elisabeth Moss, Steve Stark, and others. Key episodes, including the premiere and finale, were directed by Mike Barker. The production is handled by MGM Television and 20th Television.
