Sabrina Carpenter is making waves again at the Grammy Awards. The pop star has earned six nominations for the 2026 ceremony, matching the number she received last year. She is up for record of the year, song of the year, album of the year, best pop vocal album, best pop solo performance, and best music video.

The 26-year-old singer released her seventh album, Man’s Best Friend, earlier this year. The 12-track project follows her 2024 album Short N’ Sweet, which earned Carpenter her first Grammy. Man’s Best Friend quickly topped the Billboard 200 Albums Chart and was widely expected to be a contender when nominations were announced on Friday.

The album’s pre-release single, Manchild, became a No. 1 hit on the Billboard Hot 100. The song blends catchy hooks with Carpenter’s cheeky lyrics, like “why so se** if so dumb,” as she sings about frustrating relationships.

Carpenter co-wrote the track with longtime collaborators Amy Allen and Jack Antonoff, who also earned multiple nominations this year.

Carpenter’s success at the Grammys isn’t new. At the 2025 ceremony, she won two awards for her album Short N’ Sweet, including Best Pop Solo Performance for her hit Espresso. During the show, she delivered standout performances, first with a jazzy, old-Hollywood-inspired version of Espresso and later in a baby blue bejeweled bodysuit for Please Please Please, before returning to a reprise of Espresso.

Her 2024 single Espresso was a turning point in her career, helping her rise to major pop stardom even though it didn’t hit No. 1 on the charts. Now, with Man’s Best Friend and six Grammy nods, Carpenter continues to solidify her position as one of pop music’s most exciting young talents.
