Sadie Sink Left Stranded in London After Grocery Run
Sadie Sink had a little real-life drama while running errands in London this past weekend. The 23-year-old actress was spotted outside a grocery store in Notting Hill on Saturday, January 31, looking around for a car that wasn’t there. Dressed for the chilly weather in a long gray wool coat, matching scarf, and blue track pants, Sink carried a large shopping bag as she scanned the street for her driver, who appeared to have missed the scheduled pickup.

Witnesses say Sink stayed cheerful throughout the wait. After a few tense minutes, a black Range Rover arrived, and the Stranger Things star was seen laughing and smiling as she got into the car. The outing comes during a busy period for Sink, who is currently in the UK preparing for a major stage debut.
She is set to make her West End debut in a revival of Romeo & Juliet, playing the iconic role of Juliet opposite Noah Jupe’s Romeo. Directed by Robert Icke, the production will open at the Harold Pinter Theatre on March 16, and run for a limited 12-week engagement through June 6.
The theater work follows the conclusion of the series that made her famous. Stranger Things ended its run on January 1, wrapping up Max Mayfield’s story. Sink recently told The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon that saying goodbye to Hawkins was heartbreaking, but she added she felt proud of the high-stakes ending the Duffer Brothers created.
While the live-action series has ended, fans are speculating about her involvement in the franchise’s upcoming projects, including the animated spinoff Stranger Things: Tales From ’85, which is set to debut later this year.
Beyond the Upside Down, Sink is also expanding her film career. She starred in the post-apocalyptic rock opera O’Dessa, which premiered on Hulu in March 2025. In it, she played a farm girl on a quest to save her true love’s soul, sharing the screen with Kelvin Harrison Jr. and Regina Hall.
Her role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe is another hot topic. After appearing in Spider-Man: Brand New Day, releasing on July 31, industry reports suggest she will return in Avengers: Secret Wars in 2027. Sink has stayed mysterious about her character, saying, People will just have to wait and see. Fans have speculated that her signature red hair could hint at roles like Jean Grey or a multiverse version of Gwen Stacy.
