“I made this film at this time because I knew my kids were out of school,” Bullock explained during an April appearance at the CNBC Changemakers Summit in New York City. “I’m not going to sacrifice my children’s — my time — with my kids.”
Bullock has raised Louis and Laila largely out of the public eye since adopting them in 2010 and 2015 respectively, having parented them alongside her late partner Bryan Randall until his death in 2023. Even after joining Instagram for the first time in April, the actress has remained selective about how much of her children’s lives she shares, making moments like this recent carousel especially notable to longtime fans who’ve followed her career for decades.
