Outside of this film, Gellar has been very active in recent years. She recently returned to the supernatural genre with the series Wolf Pack. She has also been working behind the scenes, producing several projects that focus on strong female characters within the horror genre.
Production on the sequel finished in Europe late last year. The film is expected to arrive in theaters this October, aiming for a release during the Halloween season when horror fans are most eager for new scares.
Gellar’s appearance at the premiere showed that she still holds a strong connection with the genre that helped build her career. From classic horror roles to new projects, she continues to prove she can command attention both on screen and on the red carpet.
Sarah Michelle Gellar returning to another major horror project is exciting for longtime fans of the genre. She has always brought a mix of strength and attitude to her roles, and it will be interesting to see how her character fits into this new story.
