‘Savage Hulk’ Will Reportedly Appear in ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day,’ According to a Suprising Leak
Spider-Man: Brand New Day might bring more surprises than fans expected. The movie could feature Savage Hulk, a much more intense and angry version of the Hulk. This came to light after Brett Pawlak, the film’s cinematographer, seemed to hint at it through his storyboard. Fans quickly started talking about the possibility after his reveal.

This isn’t the first time rumors about Savage Hulk joining the film have appeared. Back in May, some industry insiders suggested the same thing. But hearing it from someone working on the movie makes it feel much more likely.
For those who don’t know, Savage Hulk is the classic Hulk many fans remember, loud, angry, and unpredictable. Unlike Professor Hulk, who is calm and smart, Savage Hulk is all about raw power and rage. He often talks in the third person and acts on instinct. This is the Hulk who’s famous for smashing everything in sight.
Many fans have been asking for this version for years. They didn’t like how the MCU changed Hulk into the calmer, more controlled Professor Hulk in Avengers: Endgame. While that made sense for the story, it took away the excitement and wildness that made Hulk popular. Instead of smashing things wildly, Professor Hulk felt too calm and even a bit boring to some.
That’s why fans have been hoping to see Savage Hulk return. It’s the version driven by anger and strength, the one longtime fans think of as the real Hulk.
If Savage Hulk really is in Spider-Man: Brand New Day, it could mean the story is going in a big new direction. The film already has a strong cast, with Tom Holland back as Spider-Man, along with Zendaya and Jacob Batalon. Sadie Sink and Jon Bernthal, who returns as the Punisher, have also joined the cast.
This film has been in the works for a while. After No Way Home, there was some doubt about whether Holland would come back. At one point, he even said he wasn’t sure if he wanted to play Spider-Man in his thirties. But later, both Holland and producer Amy Pascal showed interest in continuing the story.
Kevin Feige, head of Marvel Studios, confirmed in late 2021 that they were already working on a new Spider-Man story. In 2023, he said the team had “big ideas” for the next movie. Then in 2024, Destin Daniel Cretton, known for directing Shang-Chi, entered early talks to direct the sequel. That was confirmed later when the movie’s title was announced as Spider-Man: Brand New Day, with a release date set for July 31, 2026.
