‘Secrets of the Silent Witch’ Reveals New Cast Member for the Role of Cyril Ashley

The Secrets of the Silent Witch novel series debuted in 2020 and has since seen a growth in popularity. Written by Matsuri Isora, the series has been adapted as a light novel series, a manga series and, starting later this year, an anime series.

We have already seen a lot of visuals and received tons of information about the anime adaptation, but the producers have decided to do a weekly reveal event that is becoming more common in the world of anime.

Namely, each Saturday, the producers are going to reveal a new cast member for the upcoming anime and we are happy to report on that.

As of the time of writing, the producers have confirmed several main roles, which include Saya Aizawa as protagonist Monica Everett, Hitomi Nabatame as Nero, Junichi Suwabe as Louis Miller, Atsumi Tanezaki as Isabelle Norton, Shōgo Sakata as Felix Arc Ridill, and Kanna Nakamura as Lana Colette.

Now, they are joined by Yoshiki Nakajima as Cyril Ashley, the Serendia Academy student council’s vice president.

As for the crew, we can reiterate that Takaomi Kanasaki is the chief director, and is also writing and supervising the scripts, as well as serving as the sound director. Yasuo Iwamoto is directing the anime, while Studio Gokumi is producing it Cona Nitanda is the animation character designer, Cygames and Rina Tayama are in charge of the music, Yoshinori Iwanaga is in charge of the monster and prop design, and Eri Yamanashi and Yukiko Maruyama are the art directors. Also, Saori Yoshida is credited for color setting, Kana Imagaki is the 3D CG director, Naoki Etō is the director of photography, and Kashiko Kimura is the editor.

The anime is premiering in July 2025.
