Shaquille O’Neal is speaking out after rumors linked him to viral messages involving Sabrina Carpenter.

The former NBA star addressed the situation on his show, The Big Podcast, where he made it clear that the screenshots circulating online are not real.

During the episode, Shaq sat down with Bailey Jackson and rapper Jim Jones to review the messages that had been spreading on social media. The posts appeared to show him sending strange and inappropriate texts to someone pretending to be Sabrina Carpenter. Because the account used his real profile image, many people believed the messages were genuine.

Reports from TMZ and USA TODAY said the messages included odd jokes and comments that quickly went viral. In one exchange, the fake account even responded by saying, “i know who you are… you’re way too famous to be sending messages like that.”

Shaq reacted to the situation with humor. He told listeners that the messages were fake and not something he would actually say. He joked about the situation and said he has better skills when it comes to talking to women. He added that the version of him shown in the screenshots did not match who he really is.

While Shaq has openly denied the rumors, Sabrina Carpenter has not commented on the situation. Her team has not responded to questions so far.

The story shows how quickly false content can spread online, especially when it looks real at first glance. A simple image and a familiar profile picture can lead many people to believe something that is not true.

This situation is a good example of how easy it is for fake content to go viral. It also shows why it is important to question what we see online before believing it.
