‘Silo’ Season 3 Episode 7 Release Date: When “Radio” Drops on Apple TV+

Apple TV+’s dystopian sci-fi drama has been steadily unraveling one of its biggest mysteries this season, and fans are closing in on the back half of a run that promises to finally deliver long-awaited answers. Based on Hugh Howey’s bestselling trilogy, the series has spent its third season pulling Juliette Nichols and the underground silo’s inhabitants deeper into the truth behind why humanity was forced underground in the first place.

Season 3 premiered on July 3, 2026, picking up in the aftermath of a Season 2 finale that left Juliette grappling with memory loss while the silo faced a dangerous new threat. Creator Graham Yost has framed the entire series around one central question, describing the show as fundamentally a mystery. He said, “The mystery is: why are these people living in this underground silo? What happened? Why can’t they go outside?”

‘Silo‘ Season 3 Episode 7, titled “Radio,” premieres on Apple TV+ on Friday, August 14, 2026, continuing the show’s weekly Friday release pattern that has held steady since the season began. New episodes typically become available at 12 a.m. Pacific Time, or 3 a.m. Eastern Time, giving fans in different regions their own local drop times depending on time zone.

This installment arrives as the tenth and final episode of the season, “Troy,” approaches, with the finale scheduled to close out the current run on September 4, 2026. Between now and then, the season still has three more episodes to unfold, including Episode 8, “Gray Goo,” on August 21, and Episode 9, “Farewell,” on August 28, before the season concludes.

Much of the season’s narrative tension has centered on parallel storylines: Juliette’s ongoing search for the truth within the silo, and flashbacks to the mysterious “Before Times” that hint at what actually led to humanity being sealed underground. According to the season’s marketing, “the truth lies in the past,” suggesting the answers to the silo’s central mystery are rooted in historical events that predate the current timeline entirely. That structure has allowed the show to slowly braid together its present-day drama with glimpses of the world before the silos existed.

Apple has already confirmed that ‘Silo’ will return for a fourth and final season, which will bring the overall story to its conclusion. No official premiere date has been set for that final chapter, though based on the show’s release pace so far, a 2027 debut appears to be the most likely window.

The current season also features new faces joining the cast following Steve Zahn’s addition back in Season 2, continuing to expand the ensemble as the mystery deepens heading into these final stretches. With only a handful of episodes left before Season 3 wraps, the pressure is mounting for the show to deliver on the answers it’s been building toward since the beginning.
