“Some upcoming episodes I’m gonna watch without them [parents]”: Patrick Schwarzenegger Hints the Last Two Episodes of ‘The White Lotus’ Season 3 Will Be the Craziest Yet

The White Lotus always dared to go “too far,” but the latest episode was something else. Episode 6 of Season 3, which aired on March 23, 2025, has smashed viewership records for the series. It pulled in 4.2 million viewers in the U.S. across HBO and the streaming platform Max. Did that have something to do with it’s crazy plot?
We can’t know for sure. But we know do now that the next two episodes will be even crazier!
Patrick Schwarzenegger, a 31-year-old actor and son of Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver, recently shared some spicy details about his role in the last two episodes of season three of The White Lotus on The Drew Barrymore Show.
Schwarzenegger told host Drew Barrymore that watching the first episode with his family was awkward. In that episode, his character goes fully nude. He said, “It was a little nerve-wracking watching the first episode with my whole family because I do take some clothes off.”
His mom, Maria Shriver, appeared in a pre-recorded video during the show and teased him about it. She asked, “What episode of White Lotus are you most nervous for me to watch?” She added, “I think every single one you’ve been nervous for me to watch, and you keep saying, ‘That’s not me, that’s a prosthetic.’ OK, anyway.”
The actor admitted the nudity wasn’t the only tough moment. His character also gets tangled in a wild storyline with his TV brother, Lochlan, played by Sam Nivola.
The two share a drunken threesome with Chloe, played by Charlotte Le Bon. Later, a flashback shows Lochlan “assisting” Saxon during an intimate moment with Chloe. There’s even a scene where the brothers kiss.
Schwarzenegger hinted that the last two episodes of the season get even wilder. He said, “I’ll definitely take a bathroom break. The next episodes are, yeah, they’re crazy!” He plans to skip watching those with his family.
Last week, he told Today about his parents’ reactions to the nude scene. “We watched the first episode together and all my family members had different reactions to seeing me completely nude,” he said. “My dad thought it was hilarious. My mom didn’t even really understand what was happening.”
Despite the awkward family viewings, Schwarzenegger praised the show. He called the rest of the season “some of the best TV I ever watched.”
He explained how creator Mike White builds the story. “He slowly reels you in. The first episodes are very building the characters, building the storyline, building the… Thailand, the aesthetics. And then everything explodes,” he said. He added, “It’s bonkers. It gets bonkers. That’s what Mike does.”
The season has earned strong reviews. On Rotten Tomatoes, 91% of 133 critics gave it a thumbs-up, with an average score of 7.85 out of 10. Metacritic gave it 77 out of 100 based on 44 reviews. Critics say it’s darker and slower than past seasons but still delivers sharp performances.
Patrick Schwarzenegger’s openness about these risqué scenes shows his confidence as an actor. Taking on such bold roles can be a big risk, but it seems to pay off with the show’s high praise.
It’s interesting how his famous family handles watching him in these moments—his dad laughing and his mom confused. It’s brave to push boundaries like this, especially under the spotlight of a well-known name.
