Sophie Turner Is Reportedly Dating 20 Years Older Coldplay Frontman

Sophie Turner is reportedly dating Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, following her split from aristocrat boyfriend Peregrine ‘Perry’ Pearson, according to the Daily Mail.

The Game of Thrones actress, 29, was said to have gone on a “secret date” with the 48-year-old musician shortly after ending her nearly two-year relationship with Perry.

Sources told the outlet that Sophie and Perry officially broke up after a high-society wedding in late September. Guests reportedly saw the pair bickering and arguing on the dance floor, despite sharing some affectionate moments.

Sophie didn’t waste time being glum, as she reportedly went on a date with Chris Martin the very next week. Martin, who consciously uncoupled from his ex-wife Gwyneth Paltrow, has been in London this summer performing as part of Coldplay’s Music Of The Spheres tour.

While Sophie appears to have moved on, Perry was also spotted recently at a west London nightclub with a blonde companion who resembled Sophie, sources revealed.

Sophie has been a Coldplay fan for years. In a 2020 birthday video arranged by her ex-husband Joe Jonas, she was surprised by a message from Chris Martin. “It’s Chris Martin!” Sophie exclaimed in shock.

Martin wished her a happy birthday and added, “Thanks for being awesome, bye,” blowing a kiss to the camera. Sophie, visibly thrilled, held back tears, saying, “I’m not going to cry on camera.”

Sophie and Joe Jonas married in 2019 and share two daughters, Willa, four, and Delphine, two. Their divorce was finalized in September 2024, over a year after Joe filed for separation.
