‘Spartacus: House of Ashur’ Trailer Teases Blood, Betrayal, and Chaos in Season 1
Starz has dropped the first trailer for Spartacus: House of Ashur, giving fans a first look at the blood, action, and drama coming in the new series.
The network confirmed that the show will premiere on December 5, with the first two episodes available immediately. After that, new episodes will be released each Friday on Starz’s app and TV channel.

The Red Band trailer shows gladiators fighting in a deadly arena, with the crowd deciding their fate with a thumbs-up or thumbs-down. Liam McIntyre makes a brief return as Spartacus, but in one dramatic scene, Ashur, played by Nick E. Tarabay, attacks him with a spear. Starz also released a Green Band trailer on YouTube for viewers who are faint-hearted.
Spartacus: House of Ashur is set in a reimagined Ancient Rome. The story follows Ashur, who rises again as “Dominus” after his earlier defeat. He seeks revenge and builds his House into a new power, full of violence, ambition, and loyalty. The series also stars Tenika Davis, Jamaica Vaughan, Ivana Baquero, Jordi Webber, Claudia Black, India Shaw-Smith, and Leigh Gill.
Starz called the series “a story where power, passion, and destiny unite in an unforgettable new story,” promising fans the return of the intense action and wild hedonism that made the original Spartacus so popular.
From the trailer, it looks like House of Ashur will deliver plenty of drama, betrayal, and bloody battles. In my opinion, this new chapter could be a thrilling return for fans of the franchise. What do you think about the new series? Share your thoughts in the comments.
