‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ Swings Into a New Filming Location
Marvel’s next Spider-Man film, Spider-Man: Brand New Day, has shifted its cameras to a fresh location in London.
According to Battersea Beat on Instagram, crews recently took over Battersea Park, shutting down West Carriage Drive and nearby fields for a major shoot. Locals also noticed signs for Blue Oasis, the working title being used during production.
Tom Holland is once again back as Peter Parker, with Zendaya returning as MJ. Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, the film is set to be the fourth Spider-Man movie in the MCU and will hit theaters in the summer of 2026.
Battersea Beat wrote on Instagram: “Lots of you spotted the film crews in Battersea Park yesterday, who took over West Carriage Drive and the nearby fields for the filming of Marvel’s fourth Spider-Man film, Spider-Man: Brand New Day. You may have also heard they were filming for ‘Blue Oasis,’ which is a working title for the upcoming Spider-Man film.”
The post added that the park is back open now and events like the weekly Battersea Parkrun are happening as normal. However, the Albert Bridge car park will stay closed until Sunday.
Fans are excited that a well-loved London spot will be featured in the movie, with many speculating that Battersea Park could be standing in for New York’s Central Park on screen.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day is part of Marvel’s Phase Six lineup and is scheduled for release on July 31, 2026.
