New details about Hasbro’s 2026 Marvel Legends action figures have surfaced online, and fans are excited about what’s coming. At least when it comes to Hulk.

Toy review channel Displaying Model Behavior shared a video recently, showing what he knows about next year’s Marvel Legends lineup.

One interesting figure is the Hulk. The figure, called Gamma Goliath, will apparently be part of the Spider-Man: Brand New Day set. Mark Ruffalo is confirmed to return as Dr. Bruce Banner in the MCU’s fourth Spider-Man movie.

Bruce Banner has been a complicated character since Avengers: Endgame. He has been living as “Smart Hulk,” a version where he keeps his full intelligence but has the Hulk’s strength and body. This version is very different from the classic “Savage Hulk” that fans also love. Many MCU fans want Bruce to lose control again and become the ferocious Savage Hulk.

The character has always struggled with his transformations. Anger and instability can trigger the Hulk to emerge. Because Ruffalo’s role in Spider-Man: Brand New Day is still mostly unknown, fans pay attention to every clue about which Hulk we will see.

In his video, Displaying Model Behavior speculated that Hasbro’s new Hulk figure could hint at a change from Smart Hulk back to Savage Hulk in the film. Nothing is confirmed yet, but the idea makes sense to some fans.

The action figure itself is exciting because Marvel Legends rarely releases many Hulk figures. Over 17 years of the MCU, Hasbro has made only four unique Hulk figures, not counting variants or older Incredible Hulk toys.

It’s worth noting that Sony owns Spider-Man’s film rights and Universal owns the Hulk’s distribution rights, but Marvel Studios and Disney control merchandise. This means the studio can choose any Hulk version they want for toys and promotions.

Here’s what we know for sure about Spider-Man: Brand New Day and Bruce Banner: Mark Ruffalo will return as Bruce, and Bruce will almost certainly transform into the Hulk at some point. Which Hulk appears—Smart Hulk or Savage Hulk—has not been officially revealed.

Savage Hulk appears when anger takes over completely. His strength grows as he gets angrier, and his mind clears of memories or thoughts. He acts purely on instinct and destroys almost everything in his path.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day will be 38th MCU film and the fourth Spider-Man solo film. The movie is directed by Destin Daniel Cretton with a screenplay by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers. The cast includes Tom Holland, Zendaya, Jacob Batalon, Sadie Sink, Liza Colón-Zayas, Jon Bernthal, Mark Ruffalo, and Michael Mando.

The movie is set to release in the United States on July 31, 2026, as part of Phase Six of the MCU. Fans will be watching closely to see which Hulk steps back into the spotlight.
