Fresh merchandise reveals are continuing to pull back the curtain on one of the most anticipated Marvel Studios releases of the year, and the latest ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ toys have just handed fans something they have waited years to see.

New Hasbro ActionVerse figures confirm that Michael Mando’s Scorpion will sport a comic-accurate mask in the upcoming film, a detail that has sent the Spider-Man fandom into an immediate frenzy.

Michael Mando’s return as Mac Gargan was first announced by The Hollywood Reporter, with the actor also spotted in set photos from October 2025 wearing a prison jumpsuit and being led out of a helicopter. This will mark the first time Mando actually suits up as Scorpion, since his original appearance in ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’ saw him play the character before ever donning the iconic armor.

The Hasbro ActionVerse figure showcases Mac Gargan’s full Scorpion armor, including a green suit, a mechanical tail, and a helmet, with the packaging carrying official Marvel Studios branding. The figure stands 4.5 inches tall, comes with five detachable accessories and multiple points of articulation, and is priced at $9.99 for availability at most major retailers in Summer 2026.

While it remains unknown exactly how often the helmet will appear in the film, Hasbro has confirmed the toy designs are “inspired” by ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’, meaning fans can expect the comic-accurate mask to feature in at least a few scenes. The distinction matters to longtime readers of the source material, as the character’s distinctive green visor has been a defining visual of Mac Gargan for decades in Marvel Comics.

Scorpion is not the only villain getting a comic-faithful treatment in the new merchandise wave, with Tombstone also appearing for the first time in the LEGO tie-in sets and looking notably comic-accurate in his design. The broader villain lineup confirmed across toy releases also includes Boomerang and Tarantula, suggesting the film is committing to a sprawling street-level threat rather than a single central antagonist.

‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ is directed by Destin Daniel Cretton and written by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers, with the cast including Tom Holland, Zendaya, Jacob Batalon, Jon Bernthal, Tramell Tillman, Michael Mando, and Mark Ruffalo. The story picks up four years after the events of ‘No Way Home’, with Peter Parker now an adult living alone in a New York that no longer remembers his name, having devoted himself entirely to protecting the city as Spider-Man.

With the film swinging into theaters on July 31, the merchandise pipeline is only going to accelerate from here. For Scorpion fans who have been waiting since that memorable ‘Homecoming’ after-credits scene, the promise of a fully masked, fully armored Mac Gargan going head to head with Holland’s Spider-Man is shaping up to be one of the summer’s most satisfying payoffs.
