‘Succession’ Star, Arrested for DUI in New Hampshire
Nicholas Braun, best known for his role as Cousin Greg on HBO’s hit series Succession, was arrested in New Hampshire last weekend for driving under the influence. The actor, 37, was stopped by police in Moultonborough on Friday evening.
He was taken to Carroll County Jail but was released on his own recognizance without paying bail.
Braun did not have a mugshot taken because the police camera was not working. His charges include DUI Impairment and Operating Without Lights. He is scheduled to appear in court for his arraignment on September 16, according to TMZ.
Braun is widely recognized for playing Greg Hirsch on Succession, a role that earned him three Emmy nominations for Outstanding Supporting Actor during the show’s four-season run from 2018 to 2023.

Before his time on Succession, Braun appeared in several Disney and teen-oriented films, including Sky High, Princess Protection Program, and The Perks of Being a Wallflower. More recently, he had smaller roles in films such as Dream Scenario (2023), a satire starring Nicolas Cage, and the 2024 biopic Saturday Night, where he played both Jim Henson and Andy Kaufman.
Braun has not been regularly appearing on television since Succession ended. HuffPost reported that he has not responded to requests for comment about the arrest.
Despite this incident, Braun’s work on Succession and his early roles in popular films have made him a recognizable face in Hollywood. His portrayal of Cousin Greg was widely praised, and the character remains a fan favorite.
