‘Superman & Lois’ Set Photo Showcases Possible Appearance of Notable Superhero

Despite not being connected to the larger Arrowverse, ‘Superman & Lois’ is easily the best CW superhero show in terms of quality writing. The show did have its ups and downs, especially last year.

After Nexstar acquired CW and the network was bound to be restructured, ‘Superman & Lois’ survived the onslaught during which many shows were canceled. This led to some of the main cast being let go, fewer writers, and the episode count was slashed compared to previous seasons. Now after several months of filming the last season of ‘Superman & Lois’ has wrapped filming, ready for the Fall 2024 release date.

As we already mentioned, most of the cast of the upcoming show was let go, according to some reports Wolé Parks won’t be returning to reprise his role as John Henry Irons, and yet, some recent set images tease him appearing as one of the most notable superheroes.

Recent set photos from the series finale, captured by Canadagraphs and shared via UniverseoDCnauta on X, showcase graffiti on a building wall portraying Irons donning his iconic armor, sans helmet, sporting a flowing red cape, and displaying an ‘S’ shield on his chest.

Fans speculate that John Henry Irons will embrace his comic book counterpart, Steel, in the series finale, based on the graffiti depicting him in the hero’s attire. While there’s a chance Wolé Parks may not appear in the finale, the prevailing belief is that he’ll suit up for a significant finale, considering the evidence.

The last season of ‘Superman & Lois’ will consist of 10 episodes and is supposed to air sometime in the Fall of this year.
