Sydney Sweeney is reclaiming her narrative and her body in a bold new cover shoot, using the launch of her lingerie brand, SYRN, to redefine what it means to be a “girl’s girl” in 2026.

Appearing in the latest issue of Cosmopolitan, the actor and entrepreneur chose to let her new line of intimate apparel do the talking through a series of striking, nearly nude photos. One highlight from the spread features Sweeney in a black Miu Miu apron and white SYRN lingerie, a look that she says embodies her vision of owning one’s own power.

The brand, which officially launched on January 28, aims to be as inclusive as it is provocative. Sweeney emphasized that her design team is entirely female and that she was adamant about featuring a diverse range of body types in her marketing materials. My models are a beautiful range of body types. I’m always like, ‘I want to see it on every body.’ I can’t be the only model. I need to make sure everyone feels really good in it, she told the magazine.

The launch follows a viral and legally complex marketing stunt in which Sweeney draped bras over the iconic Hollywood sign in the middle of the night. While the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce later stated the production was not authorized, the buzz effectively propelled SYRN’s “Seductress” collection to a near-instant sell-out.

For Sweeney, the project is a deeply personal one rooted in her own experiences. I was in the 6th grade with DDs. I hated the bra I had to wear, she shared, noting that SYRN offers 44 sizes to ensure no woman feels boxed into a single mood or fit.

Beyond her entrepreneurial ventures, the 28-year-old actor’s professional slate is busier than ever. She is currently starring in the psychological thriller The Housemaid, which hit theaters in late 2025. Directed by Paul Feig and co-starring Amanda Seyfried, the film features Sweeney as Millie Calloway, a live-in employee caught in a web of secrets and power.

She is also receiving critical acclaim for her portrayal of legendary boxer Christy Martin in the biopic Christy, a performance that earned her a Virtuoso Award at the 2026 Santa Barbara International Film Festival.

Looking ahead, fans are eagerly anticipating her return to television. The third season of HBO’s Euphoria is scheduled to debut on April 12, 2026, picking up after a significant time jump that explores the characters’ lives outside of high school. Additionally, Sweeney is set to star in and produce the romantic drama Scandalous!, directed by Colman Domingo, and has recently signed on for Netflix’s live-action Gundam adaptation alongside Noah Centineo.

Despite the heavy workload, Sweeney remains focused on the message behind her brand. She is well aware of the conversations surrounding the “male gaze,” but she insists that SYRN is for the person wearing the pieces. People will say, ‘Oh, she’s doing this for guys’ or ‘Oh, she’s a guy’s girl,’ she said. But I’m like, ‘What is more girl’s girl than owning your body and doing it for yourself?’ I want it to be their choice—the choice of the wearer—whether this is for them, for somebody else, or for a camera lens.

By combining her cinematic glamour with a message of modern autonomy, Sweeney is signaling a shift in how she approaches both her career and her business. Yeah, this is me reclaiming my body and my narrative and using it to empower other women, she concluded. With a global audience watching her every move, she is proving that she can be a siren, a boxer, and a business mogul all at once.
