Sydney Sweeney Stuns With New Hair and Sparkling Dress at ‘The Housemaid’ Screening
Sydney Sweeney showed off another new look this week, proving once again that she’s not afraid to switch things up.
The actress arrived at a screening of The Housemaid in New York on December 2 with long, soft waves, a big change from the short blonde bob she revealed a little over a month ago.

That bob first appeared at the AFI Fest premiere of Christy on October 25 in Los Angeles. She had mentioned in an interview posted on The Hollywood Reporter’s TikTok that cutting her hair at the time felt like a major decision, saying it was a “huge change.”

For the new screening, Sweeney matched her fresh hairstyle with a sparkling custom dress by Miu Miu. The gown reached the floor and had a deep neckline with a bow at the waist. She completed the look with a feather boa and diamond earrings, giving the event a holiday feel.
The Housemaid, which is distributed by Lionsgate, is based on the 2022 novel by Freida McFadden. The film is directed by Paul Feig and written by Rebecca Sonnenshine. Sweeney plays a young woman trying to rebuild her life while working for a wealthy family. Things begin to fall apart when she realizes their home is hiding dangerous secrets.
The movie also features Amanda Seyfried, Brandon Sklenar, Michele Morrone, and Elizabeth Perkins. Production took place earlier this year in New Jersey, and the film is set for release in the United States on December 19.
