Sydney Sweeney Wows in Elegant White Dress That Shows Off Her Curves at The Housemaid Premiere
Lionsgate hosted a star-studded premiere for The Housemaid in Los Angeles ahead of its official release on December 19, 2025. The event took place at the TCL Chinese Theatre and brought together the film’s cast along with several entertainment industry guests.
Sydney Sweeney and Amanda Seyfried were among the stars in attendance. Sweeney turned heads in a white dress, while Seyfried impressed in a red ensemble. Both actresses received praise for their red carpet appearances.

The Housemaid is a psychological thriller directed by Paul Feig with a screenplay by Rebecca Sonnenshine. The film is based on Frieda McFadden’s 2022 novel of the same name. It follows Millie Calloway (Sydney Sweeney), a young woman with a troubled past who becomes the live-in housemaid for a wealthy family. As she settles into her new life, Millie discovers dark secrets within the household, unraveling the family’s seemingly perfect world.
Amanda Seyfried plays Nina Winchester, the woman who hires Millie. The cast also includes Brandon Sklenar as Andrew Winchester, Michele Morrone as Enzo the groundskeeper, and Elizabeth Perkins as Evelyn Winchester, Andrew’s mother. Other supporting cast members include Indiana Elle, Mark Grossman, Hannah Cruz, Megan Ferguson, and Ellen Tamaki.
Filming took place in New Jersey from January to March. Lionsgate will release the movie in theaters across the United States and Canada on December 19.
