Cassie Howard’s wedding dress in “Euphoria” Season 3 is getting attention for how extreme and dramatic it looks.

In the third episode of the new season, Cassie, played by Sydney Sweeney, marries Nate Jacobs, played by Jacob Elordi. For the wedding scene, she wears a custom-made gown designed by Jackson Wiederhoeft.

The dress is described as very detailed and oversized in style. It includes a structured corset top, a deep neckline, a high slit, a long flowing train, and a large veil. It is also heavily decorated and designed to stand out on screen.

The designer said the goal was to make something that felt almost too much, matching Cassie’s personality in the story. He explained, “It felt like it should be really over the top and have probably one too many features — in a way that you could tell her character has such a strong grip, but also is losing her grip at the same time.”

He also shared that the design process involved working closely with the show’s costume team and creator Sam Levinson. According to him, the ideas kept growing until the final look became very bold, with more volume, a bigger train, and a more dramatic shape than originally planned.

The gown took a long time to make and used a large amount of fabric. The designer mentioned that it became one of the biggest pieces the brand had ever produced, with heavy embroidery and a very large skirt structure.

He also explained that the character helped shape the design direction. Cassie’s personality in the show influenced the idea of making the dress feel excessive, almost like she is trying to control everything around her through appearance alone.

The wedding scene itself is also described as highly dramatic, matching the tone of the dress. It reflects how the show often uses fashion to show character emotions and relationships.

This kind of costume design fits “Euphoria” very well because the show often uses bold visuals to tell its story. The dress is not just fashion, it is also part of the character’s personality. It is loud, emotional, and a bit messy, just like Cassie. What do you think about this wedding look in the show? Share your thoughts in the comments.
